Geological Summary
Sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the Permian Anarchist Group are intruded by granitic and granodioritic rocks of Cretaceous age. Mineralization composed of pyrite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite, galena with silver and gold occurs as disseminated grains, fracture fillings and massive lenses in quartz-carbonate gangue within fractured and faulted rocks. The regional structure is a roof pendant within Cretaceous granodiorites. Locally large shears control mineralization.
