| Geological Summary |
The property is comprised of rocks of the Upper Triassic Nicola Group. The two prominent rock types located on the property as described by Preto (1979), are flows ranging from basalt to rhyolite in composition and green, red volcanic breccia and laharic deposits. Rice (1960), describes the showings on the Dor claim to occur in a brecciated zone in augite andesite porphyry. The rocks in this zone are somewhat altered to epidote and jasper and are mineralized with chalcopyrite, chalcocite, and secondary copper carbonates and a little native copper.
