Geological Summary
The claims cover the southern part of the Buttle Lake structural uplift in which Paleozoic Sicker Group rocks are bounded on the east and west by Upper Triassic Karmutsen Formation mafic volcanics and Lower-Middle Jurassic Island Intrusions granite respectively. The Sicker Group rocks include felsic and intermediate flows, tuffs and agglomerates which are overlain by Pennsylvanian Buttle Lake Formation limestones and lesser cherts in the eastern claims area. Massive sulphide boulders with high copper, zinc and silver values have been observed along Price Creek.
