Geological Summary
Several bodies of serpentinized or quartz-carbonate altered peridotite and dunite are present along the northwest trending Thibert Fault. There is a long history of placer gold production from creeks draining the fault. There is also a reported occurrence of platinum group minerals in placer concentrates.
