Geological Summary
The Vine claims cover northeast and east-dipping Middle Aldridge sediments of pre Cambrian age, composed predominantly of bedded quartzwackes, quartzitic wackes and wackes intruded by gabbro sills and dykes. The area is bounded by three major faults: the east-west trending Cranbrook Fault on the north, the northwest- southeast trending Gold Creek Fault on the east, and the northeast- southwest trending Moyie Fault on the southeast. To date, no mineralization of economic significance has been found on the property.
