Geological Summary
The underlying country rocks include a layered Unuk River Formation sequence comprising basal rhyolitic breccias, flows and clastic sediments, andesitic volcaniclastics, conglomerates, minor limestones and intercalated basalt flows and breccias. Sulphide-gold mineralization has been superposed upon older stratabound gold, silver, lead, zinc, copper mineralization along basalt lava - sediment boundaries.
