Geological Summary

A small Island Intrusion stock intrudes McLaughlin Ridge Formation mafic volcanics and Cameron River Formation ribbon cherts; both formations are of the Paleozoic Sicker Group. Good quality rhodonite in small quantities has been found as replacements of the dark cherts.
