Geological Summary |
The property is underlain by a monoclinal sequence of deep water turbidite units, ranging from coarse sandstone to argillite. The units are part of Hazelton sequence. Quartz vein on Goldkeish have been previously mined as source of smelter flux for Anyox smelts in 1929-1935. The vein is exposed underground for a strike length of 180 metres with widths varying from 1.2 to 1.5 metres wide. Some gold values are present in marginal sulphide zones.
