Geological Summary
Royer 1, 3 has predominance of massive andesites with limonite and <2 per cent pyrite including a subvolcanic diorite (magnetite rich), both of which are anomalous in copper, gold. On Royer 2 one outcrop was found in a soil geochemistry anomalous area. This outcrop of siltstone with argillite was limonitic and strongly fractured and schistose (161 per cent schistosity trend). Rocks are of Middle Paleozoic age and Slide Mountain Formation. Part of the Slide Mountain terrain. Bedding tends to be regionally in a northwest direction.
