The property is underlain by Proterozoic to Cambrian fine- grained clastic metasedimentary rocks of the Aldridge, Creston, Kitchener, Eager and possibly Cranbrook Formations. These rocks are intruded by small Cretaceous stocks of quartz monzonite to granodiorite.
