Geological Summary
Felsic volcanics of the Upper Cretaceous to Eocene Ootsa Lake Group are cut by major fault-fracture zones which are healed by amorphous silica with pyrite-marcasite mineralization. Strong pervasive silicification and kaolinization occurs within and adjacent to the mineralization. The size and attitude of the zones are yet to be determined.
