Most of the property is covered by Quaternary glacial deposits in the northeast and Tertiary Plateau basalts in the southwest. Upper Triassic andesite augite porphyries, argillite, conglomerates and limestones of the Nicola Group have been mapped in the vicinity of Vanna and Shelby claims. Hornblende monzonites of the Lower Jurassic Takomkane Batholith are noted north of Spout Lake.
