| Geological Summary |
The area is underlain by the Devonian and the Mississippian Sylvester Group in which chert and argillite are the dominant lithological units with greenstone subordinate. The Sylvester Group forms the core of the McDame synclinorium and is the host rock for the gold-bearing quartz veins of the area. The property is located along the western fringes of the synclinorium with the Mesozoic Cassiar batholith within two kilometres west.
