Geological Summary
The main interest is a near vertical zone of talc bearing rock 18 to 30 metres thick, observed in outcrops over a strike length of 900 metres, ranging in elevation from 550 metres above sea level at Duncan Lake to 2500 feet above sea lever or the "upper" showings. This zone is hosted in the Lower Index formation; fine grained gray to green garnet mico schist. Attitude is nearly parallel to bedding, but is also reported to cross bedding. Strike is northwesterly.
