Geological Summary |
The area is underlain by Proterozoic to Cambrian sequences of clastic and carbonate sediments accumulated in a continental margin environment. Gold in rock geochemical anomalies have been detected in phyllites cut by an irregular network of quartz veinlets. A combined VLF-electromagnetic and mag survey in 1988 defined vague, highly interpretive structural features striking 160 degrees.
