Geological Summary |
The claims are underlain by metavolcanic and metasedimentary rocks of the Gambier Formation and by Cretaceous intrusive rocks. Mineralization is locally present in argillaceous rocks but better mineralization is generally near the top of a silicified rhyolite tuff. Mineralized zones contain 5-10% disseminated pyrite and variable amounts of chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena in crosscutting veinlets and fractures.
