Geological Summary
Underlain chiefly by the Jurassic-Cretaceous Beaver Mountain Fountain augite-andesite, basalt porphyry flows, breccia, agglomerate, and contemporaneous intrusions. It is intruded by the Silver King porphyry. A quartz diorite which underlies the eastern part of the group. These rocks occupy the northwest trending Hall Creek syncline. A strongly developed schistosity strickes northwest and dips moderately southwest.
