Geological Summary
Magnetite-rich stream beds conform to the stratification of Upper Triassic volcanic rocks. The beds range from 3 to 30 metres thick and at least one appears to have a strike length of 2440 metres. In addition to iron, the deposits contain some copper and gold. The exposures are intensely oxidized.
