| Geological Summary |
Argillite, phyllite, slate and limestone of the Laib Formation (Cambrian) and Active Formation (Ordovician) are in contact with the Lost Creek stock presumably of the Nelson Suite. Locally the sedimentary rocks are altered to hornfels and skarn. Molybdenite and scheelite occur in skarns, polymetallic veins and quartz vein stockworks.
