Geological Summary
Interlayered chlorite schist, phyllite, quartz sericite schist and minor skarnified limestone probably represent a volcanic sequence with interbedded sedimentary rocks. These are intruded by granodiorite dykes. Pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and very minor sphalerite and galena occur in quartz carbonate veins, in planes of foliation, as disseminations, in skarns and in massive stratiform lenses.
