Geological Summary

Sandstone, siltstone and interbedded carbonate rocks of the Ymir Group (Triassic) are intruded by granites of the Hidden Creek stock and Nelson batholith. Silicified zones in the Ymir rocks contain pyrite, galena and sphalerite in disseminated, lenticular and vein form. The mineralization appears to be fracture controlled.
