Geological Summary |
Volcanic and volcaniclastic rocks of the Telkwa Formation, Hazelton Group (Lower Jurassic) are intruded by a calc-alkaline member of the Topley intrusions. The rocks are cut by numerous shear zones and series of dykes. Two apparent stages of mineralization confined to shear zones include pyrite, chalcopyrite, galena, chalcocite, bornite, malachite, and covellite in quartz and calcite gangue.
