GREY DACITE PORPHYRY OF THE 'TOODOGGONE VOLCANICS' WITH TUFFACEOUS AND BRECCIA COMPONENTS WAS CUT BY NORTH-NORTHWEST TRENDING, WEST DIPPING, 5 TO 8 METRES WIDE ZONE OF ARGILLIC ALTERATION. THE ZONE CONTAINS KAOLINITE, ALUNITE, DICKITE, QUARTZ AND HEMATITE WHICH IS WEAKLY ENRICHED IN MERCURY, BARITE AND ARSENIC. FOOTWALL ROCKS EXHIBIT CHLORITIC ALTERATION.
