Geological Summary |
THE PROPERTIES STRADDLE VOLCANICS AND SEDIMENTS OF THE FENNELL FORMATION (PERMIAN). THE ONLY KNOWN MINERALIZATION OF SIGNIFICANCE NEARBY IS THE CHU CHUA DEPOSIT, A STEEPLY DIPPING MASSIVE SULPHIDE DEPOSIT ESTIMATED TO CONTAIN 2 MILLION TONNES GRADING LESS THAN 2 PER CENT COPPER. DRILLING DID NOT INTERSECT SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SULPHIDES. THE PRESENCE OF A HYDROTHERMALLY ALTERED FELSIC CENTRE DESERVES ADDITIONAL ATTENTION.
