THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY THE PALEOZOIC SICKER GROUP CONSISTING OF STEEPLY DIPPING WEST- NORTHWEST STRIKING RHYOLITIC TO BASALTIC ROCKS OF THE MYRA FORMATION. MINERALIZATION IS HOSTED BY FELSIC TO INTERMEDIATE PYROCLASTICS AND GENERALLY OCCURS AS DISSEMINATIONS, BANDS AND LAMINAE. THE MINERALIZATION OFTEN EXHIBITS A CROSS-CUTTING RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ENCLOSING FELSIC VOLCANICS. SULPHIDE MINERALS INCLUDE PYRITE, SPHALERITE, LESSER CHALCOPYRITE, MINOR GALENA AND TETRAHED- RITE.
