Geological Summary
Steeply dipping, much deformed basaltic to rhyolitic rocks, interbedded volcaniclastics, chert and slate of the Sicker Group (Paleozoic) are intruded by dykes and sills of intermediate to mafic composition. Trenching exposed several small massive sulphide type showings within or in close proximity to felsic volcanic units. Argentiferous and auriferous chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena occur in baritic, siliceous and pyritic tabular zones.
