THE PROPERTY IS UNDERLAIN BY VOLCANIC ROCKS OF THE (UPPER TRIASSIC) KARMUTSEN FORMATION. THESE ROCKS ARE INTRUDED BY (JURASSIC) DIORITE SILLS OR PLUGS AND CUT BY DACITE DYKES. GOLD MINERAL- IZATION ON THE PROPERTY OCCURS IN QUARTZ-CARBONATE VEINS THAT CONTAIN (2 TO 5%) PYRITE AND ARSENO- PYRITE. THE HIGHEST GOLD VALUES ARE PRESENT IN STRUCTURES ASSOCIATED WITH ALTERED DACITE DYKES.
