THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY PYRITIC, SCHISTOSE ANDESITIC TUFFS OF THE ELISE FORMATION WHICH ARE INTRUDED BY THE SILVER KING SYENITE PORPHYRY STOCK OF POSSIBLY JURASSIC AND CRETACEOUS AGE. A NORTH TO NORTHEASTERLY TRENDING SHEAR IS PRESENT ALONG THE WESTERN PERIMETER OF THE CLAIMS. AN AIRBORNE MAGNETIC LOW OUTLINED FROM THIS SURVEY APPEARS TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS TREND. PREVIOUS SURVEYS OUTLINED A GEOCHEMICAL GOLD ANOMALY IN THIS AREA.
