THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY LOWER JURASSIC HAZEL- TON GROUP VOLCANIC ROCKS WHICH ARE INTRUDED BY DIORITE AND QUARTZ DIORITE OF THE COAST PLUTONIC COMPLEX. GOLD AND SILVER VALUES OCCUR IN A PROMINENT QUARTZ VEIN WHICH RANGES IN WIDTH FROM 0.2 TO 3.0 METRES AND CAN BE TRACED FOR A DISTANCE OF AT LEAST 700 METRES.
