Geological Summary
THE CLAIMS COVER AN AREA OF ARGILLITE AND ANDESITE VOLCANICS, BOTH OF THE NICOLA FORMATION. THE ARGILLITE IS BRECCIATED AND LOCALLY SILICIFIED, INDICATING THAT HYDROTHERMAL ACTIVITY HAS ALTERED THE SEDIMENTS. THE SEDIMENTS ARE INTRUDED BY A BIOTITE QUARTZ DIORITE. ANOMALOUS VALUES OF GOLD OCCUR IN SILICIFIED ARGILLITE BRECCIA BENEATH ANDESITE TUFF, AND IN VEINS CUTTING QUARTZ DIORITE.
