THE CLAIMS ARE UNDERLAIN BY UPPER TRIASSIC TAKLA GROUP SEDIMENTS AND VOLCANICS THAT ARE FAULTED AGAINST PERMIAN-PENNSYLVANIAN CACHE CREEK GROUP PHYLLITES. VARIABLY ALTERED ULTRAMAFIC BLOCKS ARE CAUGHT UP IN THE COMPLEX FAULT ZONE. MOST UNITS DIP STEEPLY TO THE NORTHEAST. SOIL GEOCHEMISTRY RETURNED MODERATELY ANOMALOUS MULTIELEMENT VALUES.
