Geological Summary
The claims lie on the eastern flank of the Quesnel Trough within a belt of Mesozoic volcano-sedimentary rocks referred to as the Quesnel Belt. Volcano-sedimentary strata are cut by an epizonal intrusive complex (of probable Cretaceous age) ranging in composition from quartz monzonite to amphibolite. Sulphide mineralization containing chalcopyrite is zonally associated with the felsic intrusives. Gold mineralization is related to minor shear zones.
