Geological Summary
The property is underlain by four principal rock assemblages. From oldest to youngest; Milford Group calc-silicate schists and hornfels, Jurassic-Triassic Slocan Group shale and tuffaceous shale, Jurassic Rossland Group amphibolite and meta-andesite, and quartz diorite-quartz monzonite of the Goat Canyon and Halifax Creek intrusive complex. Gold and silver mineralization occurs in calc- silicate and quartz and carbonate skarn deposits are developed within metasedimentary and metavolcanic units.
