Geological Summary
Carboniferous and Jurassic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks are cut by Jurassic, Cretaceous and Tertiary intrusions. Widespread weak mineralization is apparently associated with an irregular Rossland monzonite stock. High grade gold occurs in steeply dipping fractures with stringers and disseminations of iron sulphides and chalcopyrite.
