Geological Summary
A series of quartz-sulphide veins up to 1 metre wide are exposed in volcanics of the Middle Jurassic Betty Creek Formation just north of Knipple Lake and west of a large Eocene feldspar porphyry stock. Mineralization consists of argentiferous galena, sphalerite, chalcopyrite, pyrite and tetrahedrite. Pyritic zones related to the stock are common, however, none have been found to contain economic mineralization.
