Geological Summary
The claims are underlain by Cretaceous granodiorite which intrudes Upper Triassic Nicola Group volcanics, clastic sediments and limestone. Carbonate horizons are variably altered to marble and skarn, which locally contain pods of massive sphalerite, chalcopyrite, pyrite, pyrrhotite and minor gold. Disseminated chalcopyrite, sphalerite and molybdenite have been found in the intrusive on the west end of the property. Previous exploration efforts concentrated on the massive sulphide zones and potential porphyry deposits. Current work has focused on gold.
