Geological Summary
A tongue of serpentinized ultramafic rock of the Permo- Pennsylvanian Atlin Intrusions extends northeasterly from the ultramafic body on Union Mountain, under the valley of Dominion Creek. Locally the rocks are intensely carbonate altered. Shear zones trend northeasterly. The country rock is believed to be greenstone and minor metasediments of the similar aged Cache Creek Group.
