Pre Mesozoic metavolcanic and metasedimentary rocks (felsic tuffs/quartzites) host massive pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena in a tectonized tabular sheet. Grades average 2.5 per cent copper, 2.80 per cent zinc, 0.56 per cent lead, 1.47 ounces per tonne silver and 0.015 ounces per tonne gold.
