OUTCROPS ARE SCARCE. SOIL GEOCHEMICAL ANOMALIES AND ELECTROMAGNETIC CONDUCTORS OFTEN COINCIDE WITH BLACK GRAPHITIC ARGILLITES AND MAFIC TO FELSIC VOLCANIC ROCKS OF THE FENNELL FORMATION. ARGENTI- FEROUS GALENA, SPHALERITE, CHALCOPYRITE AND PYRITE ARE EXPOSED BY OLD WORKINGS ON QUARTZ VEINS AND FISSURES.
