Geological Summary
The deposits occur in a homoclinal Upper Jurassic-Cretaceous inlier consisting of sedimentary, pyroclastic and volcanic rocks flanked by intrusions and surrounded by younger, unconformable Teritary andesitic-basaltic flows and flow breccias. Copper-silver- gold mineralization consisting principally of tetrahedrite and chalcopyrite occur as disseminations, veins, fracture fillings and locally as massive pods and matrix material in breccia zones which are generally restricted to tabular zones subconcordant to host rock stratigraphy.
