Geological Summary
A thick sequence of Upper Triassic Karmutsen Formation volcanics are overlain by Upper Cretaceous Comox Formation sediments. Both sequences are cut by Tertiary intrusive feldspar porphyry and diorite dykes and sills. These in turn, are pierced by breccia systems of various composition, size, shape and possibly of different ages.
